A workshop on improving attractiveness and competitiveness of Railways in the Danube Ragion has been organized 21-22 November 2016 in Ljubljana. Workshop was organized by EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), Priority area 1b: To improve mobility and multimodality – rail, road and air links. It brought together prominent speakers and participants who are dedicated to contribute to improved railway infrastructure management and to providing services to rail customers.
Organizers of the workshop invited Stanislav Lenart from ZAG, who is a partner in Destination Rail project, to present ongoing research within the project. Presentation with a title »Destination Rail – developing novel techniques for improved competitiveness of railways« attracted a lot of attention. It is attached to this article.
